In other news, I'm rooting for the Cards.

A) mighty_man lives in Phoenix
B) He hates Pittsburgh, having gone to college there
C) I hate the entire Commonwealth (note: not a fucking state!) of Pennsylvania, having spent three miserable years there
D) I'd rather watch great offense and questionable defense than the converse any day of the week.
E) How awesome would it be for a mediocre team from the worst division in the league to knock off a club that is only exceeded in the media fellatio department by the Patriots?

[I'm aware this is going to offend at least three of you. Your teams all did better than mine did this year. :-P ]

I used to HATE that I lived in a "Commonwealth"... until November, 2008, when Virginia went blue for the first time in 44 years and it was when they gave the final tally for VA that they called the election in Obama's favour (at 11:02PM, but whose counting?). Now? I kinda like my little Commonwealth.

I hated Pgh while I was there. I also wasn't impressed with any other part of PA that I encountered.

Worse, half of my roots are there. Any place half responsible for my existence can't be good :P

I used to like the Stillers, until they sucker-punched my Colts in the second round of the 2005 playoffs! Even with the officiating crew obviously charter members of the Peyton Manning Fan Club, my Colts couldn't pull out a win, so forever more I hate the Stillers. Although Pittsburgh seems like a real neat town - I'd love to go back and visit the place.

Plus, I like Kurt Warner for some reason, and I like the underdog in general, so GO CARDS!
