1) How'd you and Kim get together? Why so much sovereignty in a pair-bond this old? (You both are completely individualistic as far as I see on lists, LJ, or reports of real life - why aren't you more of a We)?
a) We met, as all good goths do, at a bar, over vodka tonics, Switchblade Symphony, corset-lacing, and the strategic application of teeth and fingernails.
b) I was much more of an online "personality" than she was, in many ways, and we've both respected one another's need to have "their space" on the internet - you folks whom we both call friends are the result of my practically having to drag her over and saying, "Look, they're really great people! I'm not friends with assholes!"
b`) She's just started an LJ, after a bit of nagging on my part - aishlynn.

2) Why did you stick in PA so long - esp. when the economy was still going well when you started? Why not flee to someplace else?
I didn't want to risk moving somewhere before I had a job to move into. There were a handful of leads, none of which ever came to fruition. My last two jumps, to Brooklyn & NOLA, were done without target employment coordinates - NYC never panned out at all, and my current job pays about half of what I was making at the end of my tenure in both DC and PA.

3) What made you so cynical and crusty?
Genetics. Dissatisfaction with the state of the world. The undeniable fact of my superiority manifesting itself as contempt rather than altruism. *G*

4) What's your favorite depilatory? Lawnmower?
Gillette Mach 3, usually just with water, or occasionally with Edge Pro Gel. Trid's enthusiasm with a disposable Bic when I got my ink notwithstanding. . .

5)Where you you and Kim want to move long-term (if career location was completely at your choice)?
Seattle, Vancouver, Denver - someplace with seasons that isn't oppressively urban and impossible to navigate.
