Me, I'm in the recycling bin. By time any technology I'm using is EOL, it's pretty much dead anyway. Better for it to find a way to recycle the bits to make new technology.

I heard you on that one, Rafe. I've gone through that quite a bit over the last decade, and it's not helped by my disturbing habit of taking old computer CRT monitors, iMacs, and Eighties-era televisions and converting them into terraria. I also agree that your standard recycling drives are the best way to go: here in Dallas, we have a big semiannual drive that collects an absolutely insane amount of dead tech.

(By the way, just where the hell did you get that incredible picture for the beginning of the article? That's a sight that I've been wanting to dream about for most of my life.)
