"In all this excitement, I can't remember if I've fired five bullets or six. The .44 Magnum is the most powerful handgun in the world. So you need to ask yourself, 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do ya, punkyone?"
1) Most annoying habit?
Mine? Complusive email-checking, or eating at the computer.
In other people: Chewing with one's mouth open. *oh.fucking.squick*
2) Person you'd most like to get stuck in an elevator with?
For how long? I don't wanna be ankle-deep in Ashcroft pate` for three hours. . .
3) What's the worst trouble your mouth has ever gotten you into?
I got scolded once in college for shouting obscenities at the people in the next building.
Unsurprisingly, I was a mouthy kid, and that's what usually got my ass paddled.
4) Someone gives you $1K that you cannot spend on computer hardware. What do you buy?
I'll further assume that mundane crap like "paying down credit card bills" is verboten. I'd probably spring for a really nice couch and a proper dresser. Some nice bookshelves, and not the cheap-ass Ikea & Wal-Mart ones we've been making do with. Or the GothCruise and a couple of round-trip tickets to Denver or Atlanta for a long weekend.
5) Have you gotten over your aversion to LJ?
I still think it's siphoning a lot of energy away from places where it was . . . not better-spent, but better-directed, such as CG, but the argument being put forward that a lot of what gets posted here isn't germane there is true, but that's narrowed CG's focus and made it slightly chillier after a fashion. That said, yes, I have made some completely new friends that are LJ-only, reconnected with folks I'd lost touch with, and have gotten to get to know several other more-casual digital acquaintences better.
So, on the whole, LJ is up slightly on the overall tote-board.

This (http://www.livejournal.com/users/larrondo/27306.html) is one of my absolute favoritest rants on that subject. Have I already passed this link on to you?

however, our 400# accountant, Herb, will continue to do so.
Herb is a nice guy; he just happens to look like Santa's corpse after a month of interrment.
