A handful of the guilty parties from Saturday's race - the big dude at the right ran the 15k last year, but came to his senses and did the 5k this year.

At first I thought that said "Post-Race Pie"

Uh, no. There was yogurt, and bananas, and beer, and chocolate milk, and some other stuff, but no pie.

Then what's the incentive if there is no pie. ;)

:::confusion reigns:::

You know, even I might take up running if there was pie in it.

1200 calories is a fair bit of pie. and that was just what the race burned.

You're looking really good, dude -- your upper body is totally transformed since the last time I saw you (broader shoulders & narrower waist, in particular). Nice work.

Thanks. It hasn't come easily (understatement, natch).

What, you mean that all those spam ads about getting a six-pack in six weeks were LYING TO ME?!? I have to actually work out?!? Life is cruel.

I'll just have to learn to be crueller. ;)

I suppose that not eating for six weeks might drop some weight....

All the "official" race pix were taken near the finish, after I'd doffed my shirt.

Abs are stubbornly not in evidence.

Agent J: "You know what the difference between you and me is? I make this look good."

*grin*

You're rocking the Krazy-Kilt print. Did you wear it INTENDING To match the medal's ribbon? What a great psyche out!
Date/Time: 2009-03-04 16:46 (UTC)Posted by: [identity profile] etcet.livejournal.com
No, that was pure coincidence. The finisher's ribbons were different colors for different races (the 5k had black ones this time around; I think they were yellow last year).

All the shirts for the race (the ones that were free w/ registeration) are also that shade of orange.

Looks really good. Congrats for the race. I would not be able to do that (for the moment!)

Jeebus you're looking all buff and hot babe. Erm. But did you run in a SKIRT??

Heh...

No, I ran in a Kilt. ;-)
