Despite the marvelous nature of Bunnies & Brownies for Breakfast, I need to convince my body that, on days when K's alarm isn't going to go off at quarter of six, I don't need to wake up at that point, either.

*yawn* *wince*

You know what cheeses me off? Fax machines. More specifically, when they don't answer properly, or the recipients ignore things you send them.

They sell menthol Kleenex on Drugstore.com. Smells like wintergreen been using them ;)

A good decongestant and some Advil might help?

Bunnies and brownies? Chocolate bunnies?? Or are we talkin' old school peeps?

Have you tried eFax. I think it's still around...haven't used it in forever.

Is it nap time yet?

Bunnies...ummm.....bunnies...you're eating K's slippers again? Dude...thought we weened you off slippers! ::smirk::

Does K's insurance company have email? Can you scan the document in and email it? I had to do that a few times while going for a mortgage a few years back ;)

Aleve + 12-Hour Sudafed (or generic equivalents thereof). Byootiful. Just have to chug the water -- if you do, the combination does last for a nice twelve hours. Best taken after a nice, steamy (nasal-passage-opening) shower.

Yeah, the psuedoephedrine leaves a funky taste in the mouth, suppresses the hunger, and disrupts the sleeping (weird, fucked-up dreams in the intermittent snoozing), but the teeth and the cheekbones no longer ache.

Duly noted. May give this a try tomorrow. as it is, i'm going forward on root beer and generic aspirin after much listerine gargling.

Is this sinus pain more of a virally related thing, or does it happen without a cold?

I know that I have some mold allergies that cause allergic rhinitis, which constricts things and causes pressure to build up... leading to the pain. A Benadryl/diphedryl at night could help prevent or abort that cycle. Of course, if it's residual viral ghaack, all you can do is decongestant and anti-inflammatory.

As for today, hope the aspirin does the job.

i think it's mold allergy inspired. especially since the monsoon season has finally kicked into gear.

Yeah. We just get the May Grays & June Glooms out here on the coast -- marine layer between us and the sun for about 20-24 hours a day. ;P

Between being coastal and the peculiarities of the SD climate, we tend to have a fair amount of mold problems. An antihistamine before bed (or, hey, what I should be doing, too -- prescription antihistamines) might minimize the allergy, and the rest of the drugs zap the residual crap.

On the other hand, it's an awful lot of OTC meds to be using. And, of course, I don't do the Benadryl, either. Today's my first day back on the Aleve/Sudafed combo in a week or two.
