Almost finished, just ran out of light. Had to scramble for a means to affix the last couple of roof segments, because the utility stool we've got is just a scosh too short; my workaround was four paint cans and a piece of plywood.

Only trauma was one small slice to my hand, one to my chest, and some very sore fingers from a lot of screwdriver work. The most curious development was empirical proof why I get hot and sweaty while fixing computers -- apparently, anytime I'm engaged with using tools, my heart rate goes through the roof (220+ bpm; my resting pulse is under 60, and, for reference, it was 168 for almost the entire duration of the 15k run). I discussed this with both a pharmacist and an RN, and while they were both initially concerned, I don't appear to be in any sort of imminent danger. Y'all are still stuck with me.

Face it, man. You have a true tool-user's heart.

apparently so. i'd like to see what my blood pressure looks like while it's doing that particular trick, though. wasn't even breathing hard or working up a sweat - at the end, when i was muscling in screws i could barely reach and -actually sweating,- my pulse dropped to 115. fuckin' ticker is weirder than i am.

We have that exact same one. It was several days (like a week or so), with lots of cursing and then having friends and drinking to get the !@#$5-ing thing together.

really? the instructions, once you get past the "screw these two things together and set them aside" said "two people and several hours." had i not spent all day yesterday fucking off, i'd probably have finished today. the cameraphone really, really made that last shot look a hell of a lot better-lit than it actually was - about 730pm, the yard was getting a lot more towards "gloomy" than "light overcast" as it appears there.

Believe it or not, it was the screwing that got difficult.
