He did, however, score me at least a half day off of work. I promptly spent the next hour playing traffic cop in knee-deep water, shunting idjits into a nearby parking lot rather than let them push more water into our apartment complex. One bitch drove over the goddamn median behind a stop sign to get around me and drive into the complex. I hope she lives on a ground-floor apartment.
I'm pleased to note that I can still push a Volvo 240DL wagon uphill, barefoot, when the driver of said car floods it.
We lost power for about an hour here at the apartment. Hooray, I reinstalled my UPS software last night, and it works perfectly - I get five minutes of flawless uptime, give or take, to shut things down.
