As for the milestone, five years ago yesterday, I bought Gothopia Moon Base Alpha North. In the time since then, a lot has happened -- some good, some not so great -- but, right now, I've got good friends and equity, in that order.

That sounds about right for John Cornyn. Yes, he's one of my two unbearable crosses in the Senate, but the difference between him and Kay Bailey Hutchison is that Hutchison can decide between regular coffee and decaf (as a Ben Sargent political cartoon discussed seven years ago) without having to call George W. Bush for advice. He's had his tongue so far up Bush's ass for so long that the two of them are mistaken for a centaur.
