I'm not shy about being in some discomfort, either during or after a workout. I'm stubborn and not always going to take a hell of a lot of advice about pain management (I'm very much the "hot shower and ibuprofen" type for most things.

The fact that I more or less stoically suck shit up, intermingled with the occasional bout of bitching, as a standard M.O. for everything isn't exactly news.

That said, between rolling my ankle at softball last week (lightly strained lateral ligament in my left ankle, so it's a little stiff and tender) and doing a couple of articles on pain management, recovery, and exertion headaches, it looks like pain is the order of the day lately.

/Hello Kitty Band-Aid.
It cures everything.
And you *will* wear it.

And in the words of a certain well-known Warlock...

"Walk it off, you pussy!"

But in all seriousness, I hope it heals up quick.

I managed to twist the other one at lunch today, so at least I'm relatively symmetrical.

Sounds like we're a lot alike in that regard... Have you ever seen "Saving Private Ryan"? I'm totally Sarge... get shot multiple times? Just mutter some things and keep on going ;)
