There was no Jar-Jar Binks present. However, the internal remote control was in deep cable weirdness territory. Maybe I'm picking up SyFy with my hypothalamus or something.

I was, by turns:

- Chatting with a purple lizard
- In prison with my coworkers (recurring prison guard played by Clancy Brown)
- Sharing a hotel room/cell with [livejournal.com profile] critus and a third person, after we'd all been given black and silver Incan tunics as costumes
- At a cross between the Playboy mansion and [livejournal.com profile] mighty_man's back yard w/ a different coworker, wondering why were there with all the "pretty people" and wondering why nobody was making porn
- In a really boring, formulaic Tom Clancy "thriller," exchanging fourth-wall-abusing repartee with the thug trying to capture/torture/whatever me

How about a bunch of stereotypically "hot for scifi channel" red head nerd chicks running around?

Uh, none. I think the pretty people at the pool party were all blondes and brunettes, of both genders.

I lack utterly the ZOMG REDHEAD response that seems so prevalent.

ok then, that explains it - just seems like EVERY freaking sci fi channel show has at least one "nerdy but hot" redhead in it.... usually typecast as the "quirky" girl. Which somehow makes her more attainable or something? I dunno...

that sounds like the fault of (insert name of creator of Buffy series' Willow character)

Joss Whedon probably deserves a lot of blame for a lot of shit, but this predates Willow; cf: Dana Scully, et al
