My big blue Alienware beast of a laptop isn't anything I'd call a laptop. I'd call it more a portable computer. More than powerful enough as a desktop replacement, but not exactly the sort of thing that will compete with a netbook for ease of transportation.
Still, it's held up well over the past 4+ years, and still plays many of the current games (yes, I'm playing DDO now for relaxation).
