Not wanting to re-strain my back with squats (as it's de-load week of 5/3/1 anyway, giving the bar an almost entire miss seemed advisable), this percolated back up to my consciousness, not leastwise because I was chatting via IM with someone else for whom this was a point of interest.
100 reps in 6:07, with partial completion breakdown of:
50 in 2:30
65 in 3:45
85 in 5:10
I suspected that, given the fact I could do them at this pace, that I'd cut a corner somewhere. I had - omitting the pushup portion, and doing very little hop. So, not so much burpees as squat-thrusts. Next time, I'll do them correctly.
Supplementing this were some empty-bar squats (1x10), curls (1x20), and 135# shrugs (1x25 upright / 1x25 bent over).
* I Googled for >proper form** after doing the above.
** Yes, I consider her form to be extremely proper. YMMV.

In a similar vein are Pavel Tsatsouline's kettlebell videos, where he's obviously not fucking off, because you can't really goof around with 54# in your hand doing that shit. :-)
I'm thinking that I'll be trying to do it the right way next weekend as well. Tuesday, if you're interested, is the next iteration of "The Coworker Challenge (http://en.wordpress.com/tag/coworker-challenge/)" - one untimed max-rep set of pullups, one of pushups, and max reps in two minutes for prison squats and situps (we use a slightly inclined bench with a padded foot anchor).

Post up again in a week and remind me, I'm pretty damn busy these days. You'll whip my ass at a lot of these, but it is all good. :)

i can barely do 100 jumpropes without a mistake, so i'm working up to double unders still, i'm merely mortal and old ;)

(I've got to try it.)
One must be so happy when one gets to the lunges and knees-to-elbows... that's a break from the pull ups and kettlebells. Your arms must be rubber at that point.
I'm still kind of scared of box jumps, so I might try a smaller box for less impact. But I'm really tempted to take a 'bell to the gym and do this tomorrow.

as well, the CF people think it's okay to do the jump up, but 1-2 step off the box... it's not as fast, but it's safe, and they're mostly interested in the jump (at first). some people can cycle at amazing speed.
yeah, the lunges are sweet relief, unless you have a 25 plate overhead (a variant for the sickos, did that once).
the KB, ah, i made a "ghetoo pood" (iron pipe/pvc - i have a picture around (or an older LJ post of mine too)) for the gym when they were starting out, it's 1/2 pood, because most non sickos didn't like the full size at first... i found that at some point, it's mostly hips and legs, and just the ability to hold onto the damn thing than arms.
50 knees to elbows is while hanging off the pullup bar :> full extension please :} still, once you start rocking that, it's over pretty fast, so you're still not breathing right.
the back extensions are where i really got the rest in, despite the 25 lb plate, i was very good at them, and no power on earth could make me go faster :>

the plates work nicely for back extension though
there should be numberous demo videos, typically i search on "cf" or "crosss fit" and the name of the move, or browse the extensive list on c f com

At least I bothered to look it up because it felt too easy.
