Well, not so much a "challenge" as a thing to do, and sucker others into doing.

100 burpees, for time.

After having a generally shitty workout last night as a precursor to a completely crappy evening, I was bitching to [livejournal.com profile] thewronghands, who mentioned that this might be her workout today.

So, we're going to make ourselves want to puke at lunchtime, separately, together.

Anyone else with similarly questionable judgment is encouraged to join in the festivities. You may choose whomever you want as the target of your invective and/or imprecations of hatred and loathing.

Note: This time, we're doing actual burpees, including the pushup in the middle, not the inadvertent squat-thrusts that happened last time.

I hit the wall around 88, but after my breather at 95, the notion "i could be a real asshole and go for 200" crossed my mind.

Two miles sounds entirely more enjoyable than a second set of 100. Seeing how winded the woman in the video got doing just the 10 or 15 she did...I'll be avoiding these unless someone has me at gunpoint.

I agree that I would rather run two miles than do a second set of 100. Or ten miles, for that matter. I'm not sure where the "for the love of God no more burpees" mileage limit is, but it's out there.
