It's easy to overlook and forget how much total progress you've made when you're struggling with more immediate frustrations until someone unexpectedly mentions it. I've felt good but not great at the gym lately, and was, other than a long workout on Sunday, pretty slothful all weekend. This made some remarks from someone who I consider to be pretty athletic, regarding some of the half-assed but challenging things I was doing to unwind from work (dragon flags, specifically), kind of an eye-opener, in a good way.
