Remember that comment I made this morning, about being liberal because I like to fuck?

Shit like this cluster of fuckery from Oklahoma is why I don't think social conservatives have a leg to stand on, morally or ethically.

To be perfectly blunt, I wonder how any woman who isn't swallowed by either denial or self-loathing could vote Republican. They don't think you're even human. At least, they sure as fuck don't act (and vote, and legislate) that way.

I often wonder that too.

Sarah Palin says that women who don't support other women (i.e. vote for her) are going to hell. Though, truth be told, between republicanism and hell, I suspect hell's the better place to be... but apparently not everyone agrees with me.

I used to think I was liberal until Clinton convinced me otherwise. Then I used to think I was conservative until Bush convinced me otherwise. Now I'm just a barking moonbat.

Welcome to the Libertarian party. Barking Moonbats are the norm.

I'm not sure why anyone who isn't a white, Protestant, heterosexual male would consider voting Republican at this point.

I have plenty of problems with Democrats, but they don't scare me the way the right wing does. And the right wing has pretty much completely taken over the GOP at this point.

Don't forget rich. If you're not rich they want to fuck you over too.

Poor Protestants in this country have been convinced that if they pray hard enough, Jesus will make them rich. Therefore, they want to fuck over the poor as a preemptive strike for when God showers money upon them. That thing about the eye of the needle apparently doesn't exist in the contemporary wing-nut Bible.

"no exceptions made for rape or incest"
So... now the gov't steps in and takes the role of abuser? Amazing. As if someone in that situation hasn't been tortured enough.

KILL IT WITH FIRE.

I keep trying to comment about this. Fuck. That's about as coherent as I can get. Sure, it pisses me off, but a really big part of me is just sort of deflated. Oh, so they finally managed that, it isn't really a surprise. I'm just so devastated that women especially are allowing this, buying this and not marching down to the state legislature screaming "oh, no you didn't...". No one sees it, no one cares...except all us fucking libs on the outside. Meanwhile this insidious set of legal precedents invades our justice system like a Trojan. Waits there. Maybe I'll secede at this point. Sensible party, table for one. Y'all are welcome to join me...I just don't know what else to do.

Complete and epic fail.

I can't figure out why the directors of some of the groups that promote this sort of thing are women.
