[I click "send/recieve all" and a copy appears in my inbox, which is set to leave a copy on the server.]

"Oh, okay, I've got it - I hadn't downloaded the new messages."

Important Safety Tip: Check for new messages -before- bitching to me that you haven't gotten something; I'll be less likely to shove an assortment of writing implements into your kidneys.

Here's what my boss does....

If someone send me an e-mail and CC's the boss, the boss will answer it, even if I already have.

If someone sends an email requiring ctions to me and the boss, the boss will immediately forward it to me, spout out a bunch of "we'll get right on that!" and "where are we on this" and "this is urgent" before reading his next e-mail which is from me stating that the job is done.

I shit you not - on a weekly basis I get at least one of these long rambling instruction manuals from him, copipd to all the big-wigs in New York of course, then 5 minutes later a short "oops" message when he sees that I'm done already.

Picks his ears with a pen cap in meetings, too. Smooooooth.
