"Okay, brain. I don't like you, and you don't like me. Let's work together to get out of this so I can go back to killing you with beer." H. Simpson
My scale, so far as I can tell, doesn't lie. My pants don't, either - those fuckers have been in the spin cycle without cracking.
They're calling me a fat bastard, dammit.
Time to prune. Not using prunes, but salad. . . mmmm. . salad.

Who says I am, either? Lean flesh-of-the-dead is still on the okay list.
"getting my ass to the gym, and cutting out less-healthy snacking" kind of thing
My version is "getting my ass back to exercise, and eating better, period."

I just stick to coffee. And rye crackers. Need to reinstitute the rye crackers, yes.

i want something vaguely healthy that i can slather in hot sauce. heh.

The same that came to Vegas?
i put "too much" sugar in coffee for it to be healthy, and i'm the only one in the company who can drink it [buncha old farts with diabetes, diuretics, and/or anticoagulants], so it'd be wasteful.
I don't do sugar in coffee. My brother has corrupted my non-fat only thing, with his cafe con leche (it's best with D-milk)... but sugar and coffee should not mix, IMO.
At my company, there's the serious coffee drinkers and the wimps in accounting, but coffee in general... fairly high consumption. Not too many diabetics, or people on lasix and warfarin/aspirin. ;P

i usually do cream [okay, 2%] and sugar, or, if i want to fuck with a waitress, lemon and sugar.
i know when coffee is too weak, but i've never been a proponent of drinking it black, no matter how strong it is. i grew up in a household where the house beverage for the kids was, essentially a glass of milk with 2oz of coffee and a teaspoon of sugar.
my parents, however, drink it in a manner i can best describe as coffes that says, "you get that spoon near me, i don't care what's in it, and i'll beat you with it."

I'll do so when it's not so boiled or strong that you can stand things up in the coffee, and there's nothingnothingnothing to put in it... and I'm in dire, dire need.
Otherwise, always milk or liquid non-dairy creamer (as opposed to the nastay powdered shit). No sugar. With the stovetop espresso, I go about 50-50 nonfat and whole, usually microzapped 90-120 seconds. It's a flavor thing.
Drip coffee, it's all about the non-fat, though, and when ordering a latte, it's got to be non-fat.
