can the united states media please pay attention to SHIT THAT FUCKING WELL MATTERS, like, i dunno, civil unrest across half the arab fucking world, massive problems with our own government's budget, homelessness, monopolies, and the fact that starbucks can't make a palatable cup of coffee at gunpoint?
seriously. they get all shaky and spill it as soon as you use anything bigger than a .22

The middle east situation is particularly troubling, and not just because of the higher gas prices. I suspect if much more of this goes on, we'll encounter riots and protests all over the globe. Everything will become more expensive, and eventually there will be food shortages. (Which is really one of the only important things, if you think about it. Food. Who cares if you can't drive up the street? If you can't eat, things are dire.) I figure it is a matter of when, not if, for us to see such things here in this country.

man, if our govt could get it's shit together, and stopping worrying about keeping their jobs, but DO THEM, keep 100% of Americans from going hungry, getting shelter, a job, and generally getting other help they need, i'm not even asking for flying cars... man, a lot of the rest would possibly just work out.
not even going to worry about magnetic monopoles ;)
also, asking coffee drinkers to remain calm seems to be a tough choice... but they'd shake less if you weren't pushing them on the back of the head so much :) "DO YOU CALL THAT A LATTE?"

Wouldn't know about the gunpoint thing. The starbucks here all have signs requesting we leave our firearms outside. Strangely, I'm not joking. Anyways, their coffee is crap. It improves with a generous addition (take the top of the container and "sprinkle" it in) of cinnamon.
