Had a lovely infestation by Mr. & Mrs.
chesch; jovial, low-maintenance guests are about all my house is equipped to handle. *laugh*
This occasioned some eating out, and even, mark your calendars, saw my sorry ass make it out to the club for the first time in more than a year. Admittedly, I only danced to a song and a half (the one I would have been most inclined to get my stomp on to came up while I was in an animated conversation with
tomakins about nutrition and whatnot. Also, distracted by gorgeous bartendress. I was not, at any point, tempted to see how far I could throw another patron, so that's a marked improvement over the last few times I've ventured forth.
Saw Lexy's new house and had some tasty noms therein, as well as checked out
donwaughesq's topographical map of Middle Earth surgery scar.
Fitness shenanigans continue apace, with very heavy things being the order of the day last week (this week is the pause that refreshes, a/k/a "de-load" or "slacking off." In a related vein, I'm hopefully going to have a guest post up else-web later this week, spun off of a twitter conversation with another local trainer. It covers some familiar ground, but they're enthused by my participation, so that's nice to see.
Unfortunately, I ended up having to put in hours for all three regular jobs every day, which was irritating but necessary.
