Honestly, that's about what I've done with the long weekend - messed up my sleep schedule, done a spot of grocery shopping, worked out, and washed the dishes. Played with the cats (and gave them the trimmings of the chicken breasts I got to marinate and grill). Played some video games. Read a bit. Threw some silly flash fiction at a couple of sites (those curious can see it here, here, and (nsfw) here).

The contractors were here for about seven hours on Saturday (roofers replacing the roof), and they just showed up again now (to hang drywall)... given the weather, probably because the cookout/fishing/more-fun-than-working thing he had planned got called on account of the weather.
