why do i keep reading megatokyo, hoping it will once again be funny and make sense? fred, you're a navel-gazing dipshit, and you haven't been funny since rodney left. largo, not piro, is the life of your now-not-fun homage to manga and whatever other otaku references, and the only reason non otaku continue to read this crap. not dom, not even seraphim and ping - if you're going to have that many ostensibly cute girls. . . fanservice, boy. it worked for DOONESBURY, for christ's sake.

this is why i stopped reading sluggy, pete got artsy and shit, and away from what had worked. maybe i should try, again, to re-read the year-plus of archives on the stuff i've missed.

i really try to read something positive. i do. it's even funny, but. . . meh. i even saw the author and his gf at the bar a couple weeks ago. he's ugly; she's cute. didn't help.

diesel sweeties collapsed under the weight of too many characters, and i gave up on it. ditto for 8 bit theater.

right now, i think i have to say that ubersoft is consistently the best comic i read.
