The Opposite of Magellan

While it's entirely possible that Kirk is Magellan's daughter (because, frankly, look at her)... she's not nearly so keen to be a guest at GMBAN right now, though I caught her up without too much hassle or snarling and brought her in, the intention being to keep her through Thursday morning in an effort to get some Lyseine into her to help knock out a sinus infection she's been snuffling with for a week or so.

Magellan, on the other hand, is taking to domestic life like a champ, and, my first night sleeping on the full-size mattress I moved into the back room for more comfortable sleeping during my convalescence... the furry little bastard curled up right in the middle of it, next to the small of my back, so I woke up having rotated about 45 degrees to the axis of the mattress so as not to roll over on him in my sleep.

The plan to potentially catch up the newly-discovered youngest litter (tentatively dubbed "Mote" and "Speck" (if there are more than these two, I haven't seen them; these were just spotted the first time over the weekend, aged approximately 6-7 weeks) - they are both black, and the offspring of Tiny) for domestication remains afoot, since I figure kitten therapy will be good during my convalescence, and introducing all cats to domesticity more or less at the same time will ease socialization.
