My coworker Don is going to drive me to Charity Hospital here in New Orleans so I can go to the ER [since that's what the nurse I spoke with said was the right way to approach matters].

The hospital's phone # is 903-3000.

So, I may be offline for a day or two if it's an in-patient thing, or may be back tonight if it's something else.

If nothing else, it'll be my first time under general anaesthetic [my wisdom teeth were done under local]. I figure that'll be akin to my Intro to Sociology course in terms of mental activity. Heh.

Worry if you must, but. . . *shrug*

I'll be fine.

And be well - your health is everything. You'll do fine - I know a guy whose appendix ruptured on him and he turned out to be a stupid, useless lump of shit. Well, he was a stupid, useless lump of shit before, so it's all good.
