That was uneventful.
Ten hours in the "Fast Track" admitting waiting room later, with no consultation, and not so much as an ETA, Our Hero, with Heroine in tow, said "Fuck it," and went to dinner.
If anything suspicious comes back, I'm beating a path to a -different- ER. There were people in much more obvious pain than I was who had been there an hour and a half longer. Nice.

Glad to hear you're feeling better. I think if it were appendicitis you'd be dying about now. Could be that it was a stomach flu of some sort.

maybe it's just me, but when they go an hour and a half between admittances [which is what happened from 4-530], something ain't right.
i'm damn glad my condition didn't get worse while i was waiting around. when i bailed, i said to the girl at the desk, "All right, you win, I feel better." *grr*
as a matter of fact, i feel -great- this morning. looking forward to seeing y'all for deceased meat on saturday *s*
