President Bush today defended use of secret wiretaps in the United States, saying the program focused on people with links to terrorists. "I've reauthorized this program more 30 times since the September 11 attacks and I intend to do so for so long as the nation faces a continuing threat from an enemy that wants to kill American citizens," Bush said. [cnn.com]

YOU KNOW WHAT THE NATION FACES A CONTINUOUS FUCKING THREAT FROM? YOU AND YOUR ANTI-AMERICAN CRONIES, WHO ARE FUCKING UP MY GODDAMNED COUNTRY.

IMPEACH THIS ASSHOLE.

Amendment IV

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

And he's doing it. Implying people who stand against his plan of domestic spying are guilty.

Calling it the Patriot Act does not make it so. Being against it does not mean I'm not a patriot.

His argument is that we are war. Congress never declared war on Iraq. Only Congress can declare war.

People are dying in an illegal war, our Constitution is being weakened for an illegal war.

I've said before, I love this country and what it stands for. This president makes me ill.

"My personal opinion is, it was a shameful act for someone to disclose this very important program in a time of war," Bush said. "The fact that we're discussing this program is helping the enemy."

No, Mr. President, the shameful act was hiding this abridgement of Constitutionally-guaranteed freedoms.

We're supposed to be better than the terrorists. That means behaving honorably towards not only the people you're trying to shoot, but your own citizens.

I understand America used to be a democracy. I'd like it to be one again in my lifetime.
