elixxir and I were trying to one-up each other with name-calling insults via LJ. It started at "douchewaffle" and escalated rapidly. I think I was going into a very thorough description of what, exactly, a "labia-wrapped fuckmuppet" would look like, including helpful diagrams of a mannequin wrapped in a moist pink Snuggie, when our power went out (in real life)[1], causing the alarm system and Kim's UPS to beep and wake us both up.
Despite that, and the fact that I'm working tomorrow morning (had to swap, as I was originally slated to be on call/working next weekend, and can't be both running around downtown Tampa and answering my work phone at the same time), TGIF.
[1] Some dude hit a utility pole a block from the house, but not hard enough to shear it off, just enough to splinter it and knock it 30 degrees askew.
