trystbat noted in passing the annual ritual of the week-before-Convergence freshening of plumage. I had a dream Saturday night that I'd dyed mine bright violet again, and, man, was I disappointed when I woke up yesterday.

Signs that we're getting on in years: I actually entertained the notion of -not- packing my Onion PSA shirt. This may well be the last C* for The Skirt, as well. The fabric's starting to give up (my last pair of camo cutoff shorts were destroyed in the Great Saturday Excavation).

You already knew about the crack. ;) I thought you meant you were actually going to retire the poor thing. And most of the cruise is on foreign water, anyway. ;P
