Because the subtext of the week is "really, really wrong slashfic references," which is in and of itself nearly wrong enough, I'll metaquote myself here, and, in a gesture of magnanimity, assure ladysoleil that there is, at least for the moment, no Ayn Rand slashfic (though there is Aslan Shrugged.)

jaylake: Paperclips are my friend. They keep me warm at night and make me feel safe.
etcet: I sincerely hope I'm the only one going off on a paperclip/staple/binder clip slashfic tangent as a result of this remark...

... and I also hope that none of you can walk into an office supply store without feeling dirty ever, ever again. ;-)
