Cures/treatments for food poisoning? Anyone?

K is laid up (to the point where she had to cal off work - those of you who know her will appreciate how lousy she has to feel to do so).

Right now, if she's not able to keep water or sips of gatorade down by evening, it may be time for a trip to the hospital or some such thing. *sigh*

(culprits are currently chocolate peanut butter bars or frozen pot roast, since we shared vietnamese for dinner last night and I'm fine, other than a slight head cold).

Clear liquids. That's about it. My mother's a former RN, and my dad was a doctor. Whenever anyone was ill with upper g-i crud, it was all about the 7-Up and the ginger ale, period. No water, even. Just soda. Of course, if she has issues with high fructose corn syrup, that won't work, but the lack of food colors and the straight-sugar aspect of soda may be kinder to the body than Gatorade, even.
