Cures/treatments for food poisoning? Anyone?
K is laid up (to the point where she had to cal off work - those of you who know her will appreciate how lousy she has to feel to do so).
Right now, if she's not able to keep water or sips of gatorade down by evening, it may be time for a trip to the hospital or some such thing. *sigh*
(culprits are currently chocolate peanut butter bars or frozen pot roast, since we shared vietnamese for dinner last night and I'm fine, other than a slight head cold).

Peppermint tea is also good for breaking fevers, soothing sore throats, eliminating heartburn, etc.
Also, if possible you could try this tea concotion:
1 part peppermint tea
1 part rosehips
1 part catnip (yes! I said catnip!)
Mix, steep as regular tea before going to bed or if you aren't going anywhere for a few hours.
The catnip will knock her out for quite a while, and the rosehips will make her sweat without raising her body temp. Therefore, she should be able to sweat out whatever it is in her system. The peppermint tea is just for added flavor and added bonuses as stated above. If anything she will have the best sleep she's had in ages. :)
If I think of anything else I will post it.
