My letter to Martinez & Nelson, in a nutshell: "Senator, I urge you to speak out on the floor and oppose Sen. David Vitter’s Amendment No. 601 to the Omnibus Appropriations Act of 2009 (H.R.1105). Senator Vitter's attack on Planned Parenthood is both unconstitutional and unconscionable."

I think it's the "separation of church of state" thing, at least as interpreted via prior art vis a vis the so-called "establishment clause"

The deep and abiding irony and hypocrisy of David Vitter is that, were he to knock up one of the hookers he frequently hires, he wants to make it impossible for her to do anything about it except have his child out of wedlock. I love seeing Republican/Conservative "Morals and Ethics" on display.
