26:something

50, windy, rainy. Heartburn the first mile, puked in a trash can 15 feet past the finish line.

Not one of my more stirring performances. First mile was approx 7:45, and it just went downhill from there.

Dude, 26 minutes is a really good 5K time.

The last one I could find my posted time for, 11/23/08, was 23:06.

I was running 18:30 in high school. admittedly, that was twenty years and fifty pounds ago, but.... yeah. I have elevated expectations.

FUUUUCK. Three six-minute miles back to back? Remind me never to go bear hunting with you.

My PR for one mile is 4:52, but that was the week I graduated from college.

The bear wouldn't have wanted me, because I was 130# soaking wet. No meat on those bones.

Sweet dick, you're some kind of evil jogging robot! I fear you sir.

Nah. I'm just in decent shape. There are faster 5k goths on my f-list. *waves to Cris*

You want scary?

The world record in the MARATHON averages a faster per-mile pace than my PR.

26.2 x 4:52 = 2:07:31

The WR is 2:03:58, IIRC.

Well I'd bet you're faster than Tingoth any day.

I'd poop. If I tried to make a mile in less than 6 minutes I'd fall flat on my face, knock out all my teeth, and poop. They'd have to peel me off the pavement with a snow shovel.

Hi, yes, hello, um, like, I run 12 minute miles so quit beating yourself up over a great time. It's winter, we're all out of running shape anyway.

I've been running two or three times a week, though (the perks of "winter" in Florida). The weather yesterday was pretty much akin to what I was used to when I ran in HS/college (in Buffalo, in November).

I just finished 10.8 miles in Pennsylvania February and managed pathetic 15min/mile average. Cheer up!
