Church feeds the icky, nasty homeless, gets shut down by neighbors who just can't have that sort of thing in these nice, rich places.

Ha, but every time the fucking right wingers complain that the rich get taxed more, they call THAT "class warfare."

People just don't want homeless people to exist, and somehow think that wishing and legislating will make it so. It's really easy for most people to turn it into an us vs them thing, and their thinking process just doesn't go any further than that.
