I have to say I noticed a huge difference between replying to a thread where he was posting in an official capacity about Tea Party tickets versus replying to a contact request. The contact request was just like any other 'regular person'

There was a posting (http://community.livejournal.com/agc_afterglow/64024.html) to [livejournal.com profile] agc_afterglow that [livejournal.com profile] tepesh mentioned the tea party tickets being non-transferable to answer a question about someone looking to acquire a second ticket for their boyfriend. The postings I had back and forth did not seem to make sense, and were a "beaurocratic answer" of "too bad, your money paid is just a loss" and was a very different "atmosphere" to the small conversation I had with him for a reply to the c13 'contact' page. The contact reply was more down to earth normal-guy conversation instead.
